NATURE IS NOSTALGIA

To be in nature is considered as a form of escapism or a hobby. It is seen as an action rather than a state of being. Nature is no longer a place where we are, but is sequestered to the fringes, and idealised as a place to visit. Therefore, when we are momentarily in nature again, we experience this nostalgia of belonging. Then, when we leave, we have to fill the vacant space created by its absence.
