One lover, alive but at the brink of death. The other, dead, bartering with nature to be reborn.

Nature debates and accepts the dead lover's offer to be like a flower and reborn from death.

The lover crosses the threshold, living as long as the flower has petals.

Nature has seen many lights being born and fading away.

An offering has been made with one of those extinguished lights.

Nature debates and accepts the dead lover's offer.

They are no longer a light,

but become like a flower,

reborn from death.

But warned that they will only be living as long as the flower has petals.

The lovers are reunited,

but both occupy the space between life and death.

They are separated again.

One needs to wake and the other is running out of time.
